The Festival Charity - Supportability
(Formerly Stockport CP Society)
Making life better for people with disabilities.
The 2020 Stockport Beer & Cider Festival Charity is Supportability (formerly Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society).
Supportability provide valuable support to children, young people and adults with complex physical and or learning disabilities and their families or carers. This support enables those we help to take part in and achieve daily life tasks that may not otherwise have been possible without our help.
The support we provide enables individuals to achieve daily life tasks or partake in activities that without our support may not have necessarily been possible.
We achieve this by offering a range of services that include:
- One-to-one support in people’s own homes and out in the community
- 24-hour residential care at Cheddle Lodge
- Day services offering a wide range of stimulating, creative, and skills development activities
- Leisure groups for people aged 14+
- A disability cycling club (Stockport Wheelers)

Do you have a few hours to spare to volunteer for us at the Beer & Cider Festival? Supportability are looking for volunteers to work behind our charity bar and to help sell raffle tickets and snacks at the event. It’s a great experience and everyone who volunteered in 2019 really enjoyed it!
Contact the fundraising team on 0161 432 1248 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to help.
